Robert Elmore Singleton was born on November 24, 1894 and died September 26, 1949. Buried in Old Mayport Cemetery. His brothers, Chauncey and Hollie, also served in the war.
He was known as "Soup Bone" Singleton. He was married to Nellie Leek and they had Henry Charles "Booty" Singleton, father of Penny Singleton. Nellie also married Fred Dixon Haworth.
